This is the great benefit of Rogue-likes and Rogue-lites: lots of builds, game only takes an hour or two so you have plenty of time to play them. If a game is going to provide me thousands of builds, then IMO it shouldn't be very long so that you can actually experience them.

In fact, due to burnout I haven't played for a couple leagues now: I tried going back for Ritual league and was so bored with the game that I quit by act 3.

One of the big problems I have with PoE is that there are literally thousands of cool builds that don't even require super expensive min-maxed gear, but the process of reaching the endgame is so slow and tedious that after I've done it once or twice per league I lose interest in doing it any more. If the primary focus is to provide players a lot of builds to play like PoE, then IMO it should take a short amount of time to reach the high end so that you can play a lot of builds.
